1. Preferred alias
RedHot

2. Contact details

Most prefferably PM, but I will provide my e-mail address instantly if anyone from the staff asks for it. (I like to keep my inbox spam-free, no offence)

3. Position

Programmer

4. Why do you want to work on NNK?
I have always felt a need to bring outsanding console titles of anime (like Dragon Ball or Naruto) to PCs. I thought it was unfair for us to not be able to enjoy our favourite titles on our computers. Additionally I have a great interest in mathematics and graphics , so when I saw NNK it was like a big shock. "That's it" - I thought. I'd love to contribute to developing NNK (most prefferably grpahics, but will be happy to just code).

5. Experience

- 4 years of C++ programming. I'd rate myself as upper intermediate.
- 2 years of experience in programming in allegro (not really games, but demos and benchmarks). Offside note : allegro is a 2d library for creating games. It's multi platform.
- 3 months of programming in OpenGL . Yea, it's like a bottle neck, but I swear  I am developing pretty fast Tongue

IDEs :

- Dev-cpp 3 years
- Visual C++ 2005 EE 1 year (and I will stick to it )

6. Samples of your work

I have got no games to share, but if you would like my latest OpenGL productions or some demos and test of allegro ( generally different effects, image processing) Just tell me and I will prepare a bundle

7. Availability

Till 1st of October the whole day. Then I start college and afternoons will be fine  Smiley

8. Other notes you would like to include

I just would like to say that I can offer my time and will. Even thought I am not a pro I would be happy to keep up with you guys and in return develope the game more and more.  As I have mentioned before , contact me via PM  Wink

Well, this is just my opinion right now. You seem to have everything needed to join and it sounds like you know your stuff. If you have any way of showing a video or recording some of your work in action, maybe even a sample of a script, that would help them greatly towards your acceptance.

But that is just what I have to say.

Thanks a lot for the encouragement . I guess it's pretty sensible that you want samples. I would need a day (or 2 max) to get over the stack of backups on my DVDs and HDDs , get it together and upload somewhere (of course binaries and the source code).

Thank you for your consideration to help bring NNK to life.

Though you should have asked months in advance Tongue ATM we are pretty much set w/ our programmers for release candidate 1. However if we do need you for our future releases, we will definitely contact you.

In the meantime however, it would be wise to become familiar with the Half Life 1 SDK. If you feel you will be interested for the future releases of NNK, then becoming familiar with it and improving your skills would definitely be a huge asset to have.

As kongkong has previously stated, if you can familiarize yourself with the half life 1 SDK sufficiently enough to boast you're not only comfortable with it, but confident then we would most definitely consider you for work on a future release. As we're getting closer to our first release we're finding this an unsuitable time to incorporate a new coder into the mix, as it may very well slow us down getting someone up to speed and working fluently with the others.
