I am new to making maps and need some help, in high school I learned how to use Rhinoceros (a program used to make 3d objects) and was good at it too, but valve is completely different and I'm having some problems with it. I have figured out that I can click run and then load the game to tryout my map, but the physics are weird, my character floats (a quarter of the size of square I first started with) above the ground. How do I make it so my characters are not floating above the ground but instead walking on it. I also can't get the batch compiler to work, I have read through kong's tutorial so I don't know what is causing it to not work.

ok so the hull file will fix the physics well I have the hull file setup, but I can't get batch compiler to compile the map it keeps saying "error writing batch file: C\Program Files\Batch Compiler\compile.bat" and I don't know what to do to fix it.
