Because a lot of people have Half-Life, Half-Life 2 is on lower level than N:NK.Isn't that enough?And I suggest HL as cheaper than HL2.

i also more like the look and feel of hl1 over hl2. And hl1 runs good on almost evry pc

I don't think they use the same engine. NNK team likes the HL1 engine better. (I'm not 100% sure)
