Welcome to Friday Update #76! CHARACTER REVEAL KONOHAMARU! ![]() You guys have been asking for him so he's finally here! Voted the most popular character by choice on our forums we've added Konohamaru to the roster of characters you can play in NNK. Players obtain Konomaru after dying 100 times! Using a multitude of abilities Konohamaru can blend into his environment with the use of a sneaky camouflage blanket or call upon his friends for help! Welcome to Status Update #1!
It's been a while since we've let you guys know what's happening behind the scenes. With our first update we're announcing Open positions on our team as well as a status update on what to expect in the patch! Calling all developers! NNK has opened it's arms and is looking for new talent to fill our roster! We've had a great time developing R1 for you guys, and with that behind us we've increased our scope for how grand and great R2 will be! To get it out as fast and as polished as we can we need more talent on our team. We are looking for more artists to round out our team. If you know any talented artists or animators let them know about us and send us an e-mail at ApplyNNK@gmail.com with samples of your work. Patch status! The patch is coming along quite well. We don't want to make the same mistake we did with our release and have some issues playing it. We've increased the scope of testing for our patches to make sure they will work for all of our fans. Editor's choice 2009! For any one who hasn't seen it yet NNK has won ModDB's Editor's Choice for Best Upcoming mod 2009! [UPDATE] Also, we've scored the 2nd place in the ModDB's Players Choice Awards for Best Upcoming mod 2009! It's been a few days since the post was made, but we'd like to thank all our fans for supporting us and pushing us to make this project as successful as it is! All our hard work has definitely been worth it and we're more motivated then ever to improve our project and push it even further! In just two more days we'll also find out if we won Players choice, let's hope our great community pushed us through for that honor as well! We want more fan content! This tutorial video shows you how to create a VBO model map for NNK and how to setup everything required for an NNK map! Tutorial Guide
We'd like to thank all of you guys out there for making this a successful launch! We are aware that some of you are having issues installing the game, and others with the client.dll problem. So here's a Video Tutorial! http://www.moddb.com/mods/naruto-naiteki-kensei/videos/installation-tutorial-client-bug-fix#imagebox I hope this has helped you guys with figuring how how exactly to install our game. Some of the parts, such as installation, have been sped up to save time. If you are looking for the client.dll fix, skip ahead to 4:50. The method to fix it is to open up Half-life, go into Options > Video and change the Renderer to OpenGL mode. Remember, this isn't a guaranteed fix but might help. We're currently working as hard as we can to get a patch out to you guys asap. So sit tight, and keep reporting any issues you may find in our Help Forum. Also for those of you who have been having low FPS while playing NNK, you can also turn off many of the graphical features of NNK. 1. Open up NNK 2. Click Options 3.
